The same engine, before and after. Head off, carbon and old oil cleaned away, bores and pistons inspected, and everything rebuilt to spec. This is the level of care every engine gets here.
Carbon cleaning · Walnut blasting
Years of carbon,
gone in a day.
Direct-injection engines build up thick carbon on the intake valves, causing rough idle, misfires and lost power. We blast it away with crushed walnut shell, which is tough on carbon but gentle on the metal.
